Croft Fine Ruby is blended from red wines produced in the Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo areas of the upper Douro Valley, selected for their depth of colour, intense fruit and full, firm palate. These wines are matured for about three years in oak vats, where they soften and develop without losing their fresh, intense fruity character and their deep ruby colour.
The Fine Tawny is drawn from a reserve of fine wood ports which have been aged for up to three years in seasoned oak casks, each holding about 650 litres of wine. The individual wines are then blended to guarantee consistency of quality and house style
Port Marquez is a garnet red wine; the soft aromas are evident on the nose. The dry fruits, plum, ripe berries and juicy cherries will remind you somewhat of chocolate and spicy oak. Port Marquez has a good structure, and is excellent with festive appetizers such as ages cheeses, as well as chocolate desserts.
